Every year, Steve and I create a must watch not so scary Halloween movie list and this year I decided we should do a throwback summer movie list! We want it to be fun and filled with movies that feel like summer and are perfect for family nights that everyone will enjoy.
The Criteria
We decided that the movies need to check a few boxes to make the list.
Must be set in summer
Be a feel good movie (not scary or overly sad)
Has to be a throwback (at least 15 years old)

There are a lot of other movies that can be added to the list but some can be way more girly, too ‘kiddy’ or cheesy, or on TV way too often for it to feel special so they can be added to the list as honorable mentions.
